First time? Fill out a waiver online. everyone coming into the facility must fill out a waiver, whether you plan to climb or not.

First time at Rocksport? Be sure to fill out a waiver before you come. This helps cut back on the time spent at check in and gets you climbing in no time! Parents and guardians, if you plan to stay at or enter our facility while your dependent(s) climbs, you will also need to fill out a waiver.

Parents are expected to maintain a Child to Parent ratio no more than 3:1 and must be present and attentive to dependent children throughout the entirety of your visit.

We have plenty of options for beginners or people just starting out.

Participants interested in using our top-rope belay stations are required to pass a belay test prior to using ropes in the facility.

**Certification and Training Guidelines**

At RockSport, safety is paramount. Therefore, all individuals intending to belay must undergo certification or testing conducted by a qualified RockSport employee. Please note that certifications for Top Rope and Lead belaying are separate and require distinct assessments.

The determination of whether an individual qualifies for testing or should attend a training class is at the discretion of the RockSport instructor overseeing the process.

It is essential to acknowledge that only RockSport Instructors are authorized to impart instruction in belaying, lead climbing, rappelling, and other rope access skills within our facility. Furthermore, our staff instructors reserve the right to revoke these teaching privileges at any time in response to safety violations or behaviors inconsistent with our established code of conduct.

Please be advised that RockSport instructors do not offer refresher courses. Should you require a review of belaying techniques, participation in a designated belay class is necessary.

Testing out for belay is free and based on the availability of staff. If you don’t know how to belay & would like to learn what it is and how to do it, you can schedule a belay class. If this is your first time in the gym or you are visiting by yourself, we have auto belays, bouldering, and plenty of climbing available to get you started.
